Reviews and Ratings
I had a lovely stay at this hotel while visiting Cape Town for a wedding. The staff, particularly Owen, were incredibly attentive, and the breakfast was freshly cooked to order, which was a big plus. However, the dining area could benefit from better protection for the food at breakfast to keep away insects. Overall, it’s good value for money with spacious, well-maintained rooms that offer beautiful views.
I really enjoyed my stay at this beautiful old Victorian house, which offered stunning views overlooking one of Cape Town's reservoirs. The atmosphere was delightful with its intricate plasterwork and cozy fireplace. The friendly staff made me feel welcome, though I noticed there was only one person around during late hours. While the food was satisfying and sleeping was peaceful, I felt the service could have been more robust, especially during off hours.
I had a wonderful two-week stay at Cape Riviera while visiting for a wedding. The location offers stunning views, either of Table Mountain or the city, and I particularly enjoyed the freshly cooked breakfast each morning. The staff was incredibly attentive and made the experience feel very personal. However, I did notice some room for improvement with food cover at breakfast to keep insects away and clearer communication regarding charges for in-room water.
Overall, my stay at Cape Riviera was delightful! The stunning view of Table Mountain combined with delicious breakfasts made for a fantastic experience. The location offered tranquility while being conveniently close to the hustle of Cape Town. However, I wish there had been better communication regarding the water charges, and improved covering for breakfast items to avoid insects would be beneficial.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and the excellent personal service from the staff. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing a great place to relax after a day of exploring. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options, although being a bit further from the city's hustle and bustle might not suit everyone. Overall, it was a great value for the money, with an option for restaurant delivery that I found very convenient.
